The Stowbridge Scuttle is a walk of 7.5 miles along the river Great Ouse from Stowbridge to Downham Market and then back along the relief channel. There are 38 caches in the series. It took 3.5 hours to set in hot conditions, note there is no cover along the walk so plenty of liquids during warm weather, and appropriate clothing when wet or windy. Depending on the time of day refreshments are available in Downham half way round. I would advise long trousers when undergrowth is rampant, when set most of the banks had been cut so would be cycle friendly. Large parking area close to number 01
