This cache is placed near Walton Hall. The hall is an 18th century country house. It is listed as a grade 2 building.
The Manor of Walton was owned by the Ferrer family fron the 14th century. They sold it to Richard Taylor in 1680.
In 1723, William Taylor replaced the old manor house with the present red brick struture. A partial view of the house
can be seen from the cache but continuing on the footpath across the field will give yoyu a better view.
The cache is a small film canister near the side of the road so please take care of children especially.
