Formerly kept in captivity as a side show act for the Circus McGurkus, these little puzzle-creating critters have now been freed and re-introduced to their native habitat by Flummox-rights campaigners. Opinion is divided on whether this was a good thing.

When Flummox-rights campaigners first broke into Circus McGurkus to free the hairy little puzzling critters from their captivity, they were surprised to find that all the combination locks on their cages were actually open. This is because Flummoxes have a singular skill when it comes to lockpicking. In fact the only thing that was holding the little blighters in their cages was a steady diet of 1970s TV, which their keepers had found made them sedate and happy.
