The Etobicoke Creek Trail wends its way thru Brampton along the namesake creek. This is a lovely nature area to spend time in, yet not far from homes, shopping, roads and public transit. Not far from where this little cache is placed, there is a small lone tree with a plaque on the ground in front of it. Depending on the season, you may have to brush off leaves or snow to see the plaque. The plaque honours the memory of Gary Vidinha and Steve Rodrigues who at 14 years of age perished at this location.
Update post September 2022: no clue where the original was, if you find it feel free to remove and keep it to place yourself!
