This cache is one of a series that have been hidden for The Laurie Event. There are a number of geocaches placed for the event and they do not have to be logged in any particular order. They have been created to honor Laurie, an avid cacher and volunteer reviewer who enjoyed devising ingenious ways to make her caches fun and informative.
This photo shows Laurie on one of the many camping trips our family took throughout the West, and she often would find animals to befriend. They were probably more fun than her pesky younger sister and brother!
