I love it up here! I already own a cache nearby but on my walk today I thought this area deserves another one. Stunning views of Pen y Fan and Corn Du from here.
This is a remote cache and requires a significant walk up a steep hill whatever direction you approach from. I've given parking co ords for Maerdy but you can just as easily approach from Ferndale on Rhondda Fechan farm Road.
As this was an impromptu hide there are no swaps inside. Even though I cleaned out the container with wet wipes I could still smell the slight trace of my 🧀 and onion 🌰 sandwich 🤣.
When I placed the cache I saw Buzzards, a Red Kite and a lizard, in spring you'll hear plenty of Skylarks.
