A Letterbox Cache is somewhat like an ordinary geocache, except that it also contains a rubber stamp in addition to the logbook. Both remain in the geocache. You can read more on the Geocaching Site
The letterboxes along Old Charleville Road are constructed from leftover materials sourced from our Council's Depot
In each cache description there is part of a song about letters or letterboxes. Sing along while finding the cache to sign or stamp.
Everyone knows the Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (Camp Granada Song)
Here is the Chorus and last two verses:
Take me home, I promise I will
Not make noise, or mess the house with
Other boys, oh please don't make me stay
I've been here one whole day
Dearest Fadduh, darling Muddah
How's my precious little bruddah
Let me come home if you miss me
I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me
Wait a minute, it's stopped hailing
Guys are swimming, guys are sailing
Playing baseball, gee that's bettah
Muddah, Faddah kindly disregard this letter
