At (or near to) the published coordinates are a few picnic benches adjacent to Hollingworth Lake. Join us between 1pm and 1.30pm for a flashmob event. We'll be having fish and chips from the nearby takeaway. There are places nearby selling ice cream and hot drinks too if that might be what your prefer. Or you could bring a picnic from home.
Though it goes without saying you can join us for the event without making any purchases at all, and without having anything to eat or drink. All cachers are more than welcome to join us.
There will be a logbook to sign at the event, though this is not a requirement. Trackables are welcome - though I would ask that you only bring large ones if you have made arrangements for their onward travel after the event.
After the event, Clare and myself will be setting off to walk around Hollingworth Lake, and anyone wishing to join us will be more than welcome.
