This cache has been placed with the intention of being found for
GAG 29
on Friday, September 24 at 6:00 p.m.



This is the first in series of 10 wherigo and 3 bonus caches.

The wherigo caches are based on a single cartridge that can be downloaded here. On the download page, be sure to set “Download cartridge file for” to “Pocket PC Device” so that you will hear the sound that warns you that you are approaching a location.

What you need to know or might want to know:
  • IMPORTANT: This wherigo is only supported on smart devices.
  • Each wherigo cache in this series consists of one tag and a final. The wherigo will show you a picture of the tag’s location and provide instruction on how to use the tag’s content to find the final.
  • You may use either the wherigo app or a separate GPS app or device to find the finals.
  • The wherigo caches are independent of each other. It is most efficient to start at the beginning and do them in numbered order. However, you can also do them in whatever order you want. Be aware that the pictures at each location have been taken assuming you are going in order. If you come at a location from the opposite direction, the pictures may not be as helpful.
  • The hike follows a loop around the Rockhopper, Dogsled and Beartree trails. Total distance is about 5.5km. If you do it in one go, it will take 2.5 to 5 hours. Make sure your device has adequate power.
  • The adventure starts at the Klondike Trailhead which is at the intersection of the Klondike and Old Second Line Roads. There is parking along the shoulder of Old Second Line Road.
