This cache was originally hidden for the 20+ Years of Geocaching Celebration & GeoPoker Run event and was placed with permission from Punderson State Park.
This cache will take you on a nice stroll along the northern part of the Huron Trail. Be sure to take the first right turn as you come down the slope from the parking lot at the gazebo. There is an abundance of poison ivy in this area, but if you look around a bit, you can probably find a way in to the cache area that has much less poison ivy than other spots.
Back in 2007 when we had the very first NEO GeoPoker Run event at Punderson, I hid a bunch of temporary caches, one of which was named "Auntie Up, Uncle Down". The cache was hidden down by the lake, and you had to climb down a little slope to get to it, so I thought the uncle could go down and get the cache while the auntie stayed safely up top. The poker reference was lost on many cachers though, since I failed to use the poker term spelling of "Ante".
That's always kind of bugged me, so I thought I would finally rectify the situation and hide a new cache with the properly clever name. If you feel like sharing anything that has bugged you with any of your past hides, feel free to post it in your log.

Punderson State Park is open to the public from 6 am to 11 pm. While caching after dark is allowed, please be sure to exit Punderson by 11 pm when the park closes.
