The original bonus cache for the Lakes of Sarpy County, Nebraska ALC series was located over 5 miles from the nearest lake. I decided that was too far, so I archived the original bonus cache.
Since I created my Lakes ALC series there are two new lakes in Sarpy County. This new bonus cache is located between the eastern most lake and the western most lake in the ALC series at either the Big Elk Lake or the Portal Recreation Area, the two new lakes. As you complete each stage of the Adventure you will receive a portion of the coordinates for this new cache.
The cache is not at the posted coordinates. Do not try to go to those coordinates as you will get very wet unless you have a boat.
The cache is located at N41 09.AB W96 0C.DE.
For those who previously completed the ALC series, if you will go back to the Adventure Lab and check your Journal Entries you will see they have been updated with the needed information to derive the new bonus cache’s location.
Please observe the posted park hours from 6 AM to 10 PM.
