舟形神社

正式名は「郷社舩形神社」であり、建御名方命が御祭神です。
当初は諏訪明神と呼ばれていましたが、棚田を見下ろす丘の上にあり「船山」という地であったことから「船形神社」と名前を変えていきました。社殿は南側の石段を上がった先にあります。登った先から振り返るとまさに船の舳先から富士山〜鳳凰三山〜甲斐駒ヶ岳を一望することができます。
キャッシュは船形神社入り口近くに設置しました。

Funagata Shrine

This shrine was originally called Suwa Myojin. This is a hill overlooking the rice terraces, and since it was called "Funayama (Ship hilal)", it was renamed Funagata shrine.
The shirine is on the stone steps. Looking back from the top, you can enjoy the view from the Southern Alps to Mt. Fuji.
