Geocache Description:

This Cache is hidden near an old coal mine that has been completely sealed since 1968.
The Burgowan No. 7 Mine is just one of the many mines dotted around the Howard/Torbanlea area.
Opened in 1926 and closed in October 1968, more than one million tonnes of coal had been brought to the surface,
dug out by men with picks and shovels and brought to the top in trolleys pulled by Pit Ponys.

To get to this Cache, from Burrum Heads road, turn on to Beelbi Creek road,  drive for about 2km
till you come to a cross road where the power lines cross and turn left.
I suggest you park on the road here and walk in along the track. It is a well worn solid track with various turn around points,
but it's a little bit overgrown and if you don't want your car scratched, it's an easy walk.

Congratulations to jaktembo for securing the FTF.

The cache itself is a small, painted green, lunchbox. It has a log with pen, a bit of swag and a FTF wooden coin for the First to Find.
