Discover downtown Belleville's new (fall 2021) Turtle Island Mural. The mural was created by Artist John Nobrega and Art Director Allan Bender. The mural was made possible by a grant from the City of Belleville's Arts & Culture fund. Turtle Island overlooks the Riverfront Trail and the Moira River. Bender says the animals in the mural used to drink from the river, but encroaching civilization has taken over their natural habitat.
