Be advised that there is a $3.75 bridge toll if you are driving across the bridge. While visiting Cornwall Island, you are not leaving Canada. You will, however, need to pass through Canadian customs on your way back across the bridge. Passport usually not needed, but it can't hurt to have it with you in case.
Pedestrians and cyclists do not need to pay the bridge toll.
