Dumbarton Quarry Campgrounds is a new East Bay Regional Park that has recently opened. They are still working on some areas. They are in Phase I and not sure when Phase II will begin. The area I chose is a picnic area that is sometimes reserved. We are hoping one will be left open for us. I will post if there is any changes to the location.
This will mostly be a Meet and Greet and explore this new park. Though this is mainly a Campground Park, they do allow visitors. There is a trail that leads into Coyote Hills if you want to get the caches on this side of Coyote Hills.
Please do not park in the RV parking. There is plently of visitor parking.

Time: 10:00am to 11:00am but you can hang out longer if you like.

Parking Fee: $5 without a EBRP parking permit.
Dogs: $2
Some navigations will route you there. But in case they don't here is a map to help you get there. Once you enter the park stay on the road to the back. For those riding bikes or walking there is a trail to the right of the entrance or you can come in from the back if you are hiking Coyote Hills.
