So I decided to change my handle recently. I've been Capsfan4ever since I started caching in May of 2010. That spring, the Caps were eliminated in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the eighth seeded Montreal Canadiens. After finishing an insanely dominating regular season, winning the President's Trophy for the best overall regular season record, and after going up three games to one against the Canadiens, the Caps did what they had seemingly always done in playoffs past: they blew it, or they choked as some local columnists like to say. It was a crushing lost, but I'd been a fan forever and would always be a fan. Hence, my caching nickname was born.
Fast forward eight seasons to June of 2018 and we all know what happened that Spring! It wasn't until just recently though that I decided to alter my cache handle ever so slightly. The 6 digits that replaced 4ever are very significant and I've used them in some way in various passwords in the last few years.
