I first came across Othello Regional Park about two years ago when my son had soccer practice there. They built a beautiful synthetic all-purpose field, just like the one at Utica and Ballenger Creek Parks. Like the turf field at Utica, this field seemed to come out of nowhere!
The park also has picnic tables and shelters, playgrounds, a paved walking trail and even an Equestrian trail! While hiking with my Geo-Dog Finn, I hid this one and two others along the Equestrian trail. I didn't come across any horses or zebras while hiking the Equestrian trail but nevertheless, I would assume they have the right-of-way if you come across one.
