This cache is located next to our local football club, to mark the success of the 2021/22 season, the most successful season for the Golds since the club was formed in 1896.

The 2021/22 season has been unique, and an historic one for the club. It goes down as the most successful in the club’s history, gaining promotion to the highest ever level the club has played at, the Isthmian League. Winning the Southern Combination Premier Division, winning two cup competitions and getting to the final of the FA Vase at Wembley, the first team in Sussex to do so. Honourable mention to Joe Benn for scoring an incredible 60 goals over the course of the season.
