Geocache Description:

19 November 2021, 18:00 - 20:00

2021 Geocaching International Film Festival

After the hiatus in 2020, it’s that time of year again! There's no arguing that geocaching is an art, as much as it is a game. In designing a creative container, writing a memorable log, or going to great lengths to reach a cache, we express ourselves every time we play.

Come out and join us to watch this year’s finalists and see how around the world our community has turned geocaching into an art form. Bring your kids, bring your geobuddy . . . . . if you think they can handle the fun, bring a muggle! Everyone’s welcome!!!

Event will be held in Room 10 at:

UND Armory

255 Centennial Drive

Grand Forks, ND 58202

Friday, November 19th, 2021

6:00-8:00pm

If it's been a while since you've been on UND's campus, you'll see some pretty big changes. Most notably the steam plant that was southest of the armory is gone and there is no a parking lot. There is plenty of parking both in front of and East of the Armory. I recommend parking in the staff lot to the east - that entrance is closest to the classroom.

At the 2019 GIFF we had quite a pot luck supper. I'm happy to do so this year, but note that there is no kitchen sink area. There is a fridge and a microwave avalable. If folks are interested, please indicate such in your log. I'll make sure there's plenty of table space set up for whatever y'all bring.

There will be plenty of seating both at tables and/or in chairs away from tables. For extra comfort, you may want to bring a camping chair to somewhat lounge, but there are padded chairs at the tables.
