Bethune Memorial House National Historic Site
This is the birthplace of Dr. Norman Bethune. This yard and home were once owned by the Knox Presbyterian Church for which Norman's father ministered. The Bethune family lived here for three years before moving on to other communities. The property was purchased in 1973 by the Canadian government and opened as Bethune Memorial House in 1976.
