Fourth in a series to cover all the public parks in Dunwoody, GA.
Vernon Oaks Park is a tiny neighborhood pocket park with a very short walking trail, some park benches, and a stone spring house that was built by early area settlers. The stone spring house is an interesting little structure, the inside of which is always wet.
Easy parking, easy access. You shouldn't need to go into the water or mud, or even get your feet wet.
Parks in Dunwoody are open from 7am to sunset. This is a small neighborhood park, so please be respectful of the neighbors nearby, and only come during park hours. Permission to hide this container has been obtained.
BYOP! And bring bug spray in the summer--mosquitos can be terrible due to the water!
