This cache was placed with the kind permission of Stinchcombe Hill Trust.
Stinchcombe Hill, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stands to the west of Dursley and is the most westerly point of the Cotswold Hills. Large areas of the summit and hillsides are Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Standing over 200 metres above sea level it supports a wide variety of flora and fauna and has superb 360º views.
This nano cache has been placed just 100 meters off The Cotswold Way and in taking this slight detour you will rewarded with a most wonderful view of the Severn Vale with the Tyndale Monument sitting above it.
From the parking waypoint there are several public footpaths that will take you to Drakestone Point – enjoy your walk!
