In September of 2009 my son Tommy the original Tman learned about geocaching in boyscouts. He kept pestering me about checking it out. Unknown to me he had already signed up for a basic account and said there is a cache nearby. I finally relented and looked on the map and saw where it was so we hopped on our bikes and rode to this little triangle. It was the site of a MAM cache. (https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC124MR) I still thought this was crazy as we searched the shrubbery without luck. I found out later it was missing. We actually didn't find our first cache until a couple weeks later when we were camping upstate but still consider this as where it all started even if it was a DNF. I eventually did find it after it was replaced. Thanks Marilyn. The triangle has had an upgrade since 2009 so I decided to place a cache to honor our beginnings.
