Welcome to the Puppy Power Trail! This trail is dedicated to all the puppies, kitties, bunnies, chickens, ducks, fish, turtles and hamsters I have babysat/housesat throughout the years and presently. Each cache is named for my fluffy, furry, feathery and scaley borrowed companions!
This is a very easy, flat trail to walk or bike, it’s about 1.4 miles one way, and you can park on either side, see way points for locations, but these are not P&G caches. Some caches will require a little “off roading” but the area is maintained and hardly ever overgrown! Best part, no poison oak, whoo hoo!
I’m so glad to have been able to place these caches finally! Most are small with swag, but there are a few micros. Thanks to siennabanena for accompanying me on this hiding quest! Had to get my butt in gear since adacause swooped my first hiding location, as I’ve had my eye on this trail for about a year!

The Kitty Cache! I know this is called the Puppy Powel Trail, but some families prefer kitties! My own family included, which is why it's so fun to housesit, I get to have my own dogs for a short period of time! Right! Back to Thor, Jefferson & Katniss + Kitty and Marylou. These are two families, but they are neighbors! Thor, a majestic orange, longhaired domestic is a funny, demanding, time keeping kitty! He loves to test my balance, constantly tries to break my neck by walking in front of my feet, and enjoys randomly pouncing my hair. Thor is one of the most verbal kitties I know! His brother Jefferson, a siamese, is much calmer and more playful than Thor. Jefferson likes to disappear for a few days at a time and come strolling in at breakfast like nothing was the matter. He will go for all the food though, must be hungry… not coming home for regular meals…. Hmmm… Now a true regular is sister Katniss, she was a stray that adopted the family. Always at the door ready for some chow and some cuddles! Next door lives Kitty, a very sweet little girl, petite and loving. She belongs to a very good friend of mine! Her son’s kitty, MaryLou has spent the summer with Kitty, and I was lucky to be able to watch them both! I meshed these families together for another reason other than proximity, apparently Thor and Jefferson are regulars next door at my friends house too. They eat Kitties food and drink her water. I know for a fact that they are fed and always have fresh water, and it cracks me up how nonchalant my friend is about their presence at their house! These kitties all hold special places in my heart because I don’t have many, all kitty families.
