Redruth stands between two Cornish hills, both home to many farms and settlements. This point is between Carn Marth to the East and Carn Brea to the South West. Walking in the paths of the Marth you can find great granite quarries, ancient sites of worship & an open air ampitheatre, while if you choose the Brea you can walk across the Great flat lode, visit the old castle or the Bassett monument on the peak. Both offer many mine engine houses to visit and stunning views of Cornwall for miles around, and really underline the beauty and history of the Redruth area.
