Sternwarte Max Valier
Sonne, Mond, Sterne, Planeten und was das Universum sonst noch hergibt, können auf 1.340 Metern Meereshöhe gleich durch mehrere Teleskope beobachtet werden. Denn die Volkssternwarte Max Valier, das Sonnenobservatorium Peter Anich und die Aussichtsplattform holen den Himmel über Gummer ein Stückchen näher herunter.
Geführt wird die Anlage vom Verein der Amateurastronomen Max Valier, der den Gästen einmal pro Woche das Who-is-Who des Sternenhimmels vorstellt.

L’Osservatorio Max Valier
Sole, luna, stelle, pianeti e tutto quello che l’universo ci dona viene osservato attraverso più telescopi a 1.340 m s.l.m. L’Osservatorio astronomico Max Valier, l’Osservatorio solare Peter Anich e le piattaforme panoramiche, infatti, portano i visitatori ad un passo dal cielo. Sopra San Valentino in Campo.
L’impianto è gestito dall’Associazione “Amateurastronomen Max Valier” che presenta una volta alla settimana il Who is Who della volta celeste.

Max Valier observatory
Sun, moon, stars, planets – indeed, all that the universe has to offer - can be observed through several telescopes at an altitude of 1,340 metres above sea level. The Max Valier observatory, the Peter Anich solar observatory and the observation platform bring the sky over Gummer just that little bit closer.
The complex is administered by the volunteers of the Max Valier Amateur Astronomers Association, who once a week introduce visitors to a Who’s Who of the starry sky.
