HNY22

What is HNY22 (Happy New Year 2022) you may ask? It is a series of caches hidden by South East Michigan cachers each year to be published on New Years Day. An HNY event was held each New Years morning to start the New Years with new caches for all to find. Since Covid has become a part of our lives the HNY event has gone virtual. The plan is for the HNY event to return in 2024 after a three year virtual run.

HNY22 Hike/Bike Caches

I have hidden 50 caches on the Freedom Trail for your caching enjoyment. The caches were put out for the HNY22 non event/event. There are many different types of hides along this trail. Some are easy, some are hard and a few are in between. I'm hoping there are a few favorite cache hides along this trail for all to find. If you are getting frustrated at a few of the hide locations just remember the one place most cachers don't look is up. This may not work in all situations but it will work in more than you think.
