Geocache Description:

Langbank is a beautiful village overlooking the Clyde Estuary. This multi will take you on a traditional wander round the streets and show off some of the views for which the village is justifiably famous.

Keep an eye out for: passing ships (including the paddle steamer Waverley, in summer); ospreys (July-Sept); our crannog (in the river near the church) and the friendly locals.

You can fine the coordinates of the final GZ by following the clues at the stages along the route and replacing the letters with the numbers you find along the way: N 55 5D.EFG; W 004 L5.1PQ

You'll start at Langbank's secret bus stop (look carefully - we don't actually have a bus service): Start date of the timetable = 1(G)/09/200(Q)

Church: Stand at the bottom of the steps, looking at the door. The lamp post to your right has a sign on which the numbers provide the information you need in the format: R(E)(D)

Village centre: You're looking for the number of picnic benches (L) and half the number of snakes on the 'Game Board', which will give you (P).

A fair wind: Take the first digit in the house number of Fairdene, beside the chopped chestnut tree - this will be (F).
