This is by FAR one of my favoite locations along this trail, the trees provide a cool refuge from the heat of the day. Love the greenery, hate the poison oak. I was careful to find a place to hide this cache that would not take anyone near the PO, be wearly, should be nice and clear, but even the bare branches near by might grab ya!
My former Hint was "that's a nice boulder!" It's a quote from the movie Shrek, but since the even BIGGER boulders near by we're misleading, just look for a big rock. Fun Geological fact: Rocks are classified as a boulder when it is approximately larger then 12" in diameter.
