THE CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES
Kolombo Creek Waterway Walk
A series of straightforward caches to help cheer you up after the latest COVID Lockdown
(July/August/September/October 2021).
This 2.6 kilometre walking circuit is suitable for strollers, bicycles and wheelchairs.
Mostly D1 and T1.5. It may be possible for people in wheelchairs to also retrieve caches #1, #2 and #4. It will involve reaching behind the signs.
Look at the photo below of one of the information signs found on the track. It is not one with a cache. However, they are all constructed and positioned in the same way.
#5 is just out of reach for someone in a wheelchair.
If you walk this circuit (which we hope you would do), #3 involves crossing a main road, Oran Park Drive. This can be crossed by using the pedestrian crossing at the traffic lights.
Unfortunately, there are no toilets anywhere along this walk. Nearest toilets would be at the shopping centre at the corner of Oran Park Drive and Peter Brock Parkway.

#1 to #4 could each be done as a park and grab if you so wish. #5 is still only a short walk. Parking coordinates are supplied for it. The “bonus” #5 has been logically placed between #4 and #1 along that circuit, so no need for backtracking. Hence you may start at either #4 or #1.
The caches are all micros. There are no nanos. Did I just hear you say “good?”
Three of the caches are placed at information plaques, which you need to read in order to calculate the coordinates for #5.
#3.2 is also placed behind an information sign.
#5 is placed at the side of a small bridge, just below the height of the footpath.
We made this cache a Mystery, when it is really a Traditional, as it seems to be a mystery that this cache was not published ages ago along with the rest of this series.
