Lee Gulch Overlook is a five acre park at the end of the Lee Gulch Trail. It overlooks the South Platte River trail and Lee Gulch Trail union, and the wonderful Lee Gulch Overlook Pond that is full of water fowl. This is a peaceful park to enjoy nature and the beautiful scenery of the Platte river trail. It is also a good place to start a hike or bicycle ride from the Platte river to the Highline Canal along the 8 mile Lee Gulch Trail. This adventure will start in the parking lot and will go through 5 points of interest within the park. Be ready for a short walk in nature, in this secluded and little used park.
