BlurryFac3 and I have hidden most of the geocaches in this park. I try to pick up trash whenever I come out here to check on any of our geocaches. I was there recently and saw more trash that could be picked up, but I was not prepared to do so on my own; there was too much of it and I had no way of collecting it by myself. What better way to clean up the park than to have others help me?
Please come assist in picking up trash along the entire loop of the park. If you haven't already done so, you can search for the geocaches here during or after your cleanup.
I will provide trash bags. Please bring grabbers and be prepared to enter the woodline to grab items. The wind is mischievious, but so are some of the locals. The area around the parking lot seems to be the worst area of the park most every time I have visited, but other bad spots are the areas around these two caches: BirdWatcher: Wooton's Landing Wetland Park & The Fellowship of the Rings. The boat launch for hand carried boats is close to The Fellowship of the Rings, so perhaps if you're interested, you could also bring your kayak and find a few of the Kraken caches that are along the river while you are here.
