This Geocaching event has been published at a location which does not require vaccine passes if we are still at Amber [if we go to red then vaccine passes will be required for an offical event to occur]. Please note as per the regional guidelines (New Zealand - Geocaching.com Wiki - Geocaching Wiki (groundspeak.com)) which are in line with the ministry of health rules; geocaching events are classed as Social Gatherings and depending on traffic light restrictions may apply.
Please note if you are attending the event, we are being asked to advise everyone;

- The event location/venue will not require you to show your vaccine pass.

A sunrise to earn a smiley and for some a new souvenir.
Location: On sand by lifesavers building at start of John Wilson Drive, Dunedin.
We'll get a good spot set up at 5.30am. Sunrise is at 5.50am, recommend allowing 5minutes from parking to getting to GZ (without stopping for other geocaches).
Fall back spot is undercovers in the park if torrentioal rain (see waypoint) - I'll write a note before the start of the event if we need to head here.
