Geocache Description:

My favorite place to look for GeoCaches is in wooded areas, away from all the noise, the hustle and bustle of the city. There are many sections of wooded areas along all the creeks in Omaha, for which I'm very grateful. And we do have Fontenelle Forest, but unfortunately GeoCaching isn't allowed there. Cunningham has quite a bit of wooded areas, which I love, and Hummel Park is a quite nice and large area.

I recently returned to the US after living in Kenya, East Africa, for 20 years. One of my favorite places to go when I got a chance was Karura Forest or it's smaller neighbor, Sigiria Forest (right in the big city of Nairobi with 5 million people). Together, they have 2,370 acres full of 200 species of birds, plus bush squirrels, hares, fruit bats, and various reptiles and butterflies. Additionally the two forests are home to Suni, Duikers, Bushbucks, bush pigs, genets, civets, honey badgers, bush babies, porcupines, Syke's monkeys, Vervets, baboons, and fruit bats.

I own one cache at Sigiria Forest and seven at Karura, plus several others scattered around Kenya.
