Geocache Description:

16 January 2022, 12:30 - 14:30

So... you got an Apple device for Christmas and you want to learn how to use Cachly? You're coming to the right place! Or, maybe you've used Cachly for a while but want to explore some of the advanced features (there's a lot of them). You're also coming to the right place! Or, maybe you're an Android user who just wants to heckle me. That works too! Feel free to come and just hang out, log the event and chat amongst yourselves. Just let us Apple fanboys/fangirls have our fun too. :)

Cachly is an official API partner of Geocaching.com. However, the app is only available to iPhone and iPad users. And no, there are still no plans to release this for Android.

COVID protocol - we will follow local guidelines, whatever they may be at the time of the event. At the time of submission, that means that all attendees have to wear a mask.

This event aims to help Cachly users understand the new functions and features of the app. No formal presentation, no sales pitch. Feel free to bring TBs for others to discover if you'd like. I will be projecting my screen to make it easier for others to follow along.

The event will be held on Sunday, January 16 from 12:30p - 2:30p at the Smoky Hill Library. I have reserved the "Meeting Room A" space for this time. While it won't be a structured event, but there is a LOT we can talk about in these two hours, so the earlier you're there, the more I can help!

My goal with this event is to answer YOUR questions! Why me? I'm a Cachly Beta Tester and have been using for about four years. Feel free to submit your questions in your Will Attend log so I know what to expect. Below are some of the things we can talk about, but ultimately it will be attendee driven. I've noted which things are new for 7.0. But of course, we can talk about any of these items. If you see something you didn't know Cachly could do on the list, come to learn more!
