IL SENTIERO DEL PENSIERO
NOTA
Il "Sentiero dei Pensieri" è una tranquilla passeggiata che coniuga il piacere dell'escursione con la riflessione sulle massime riportate sui cartelli lungo il percorso stesso. Ma è anche un'occasione per visitare uno dei borghi più caratteristici della valle, con i suio bellissimi murales e il suo forno comunitario e il mulino idraulico.
AVVICINAMENTO
da Torino a Pinerolo, si risale la Valle Chisone e dopo Fenestrelle, passata la galleria si lascia la statale e si sale a destra ad Usseaux, dove si posteggia l'auto.
DESCRIZIONE
Seguendo la via principale si attraversa il paese verso il basso e si visitano i bellissimi murales. Lasciate alle spalle le ultime case e costeggiato il grande lavatoio, poco oltre si incontra il vecchio mulino. L'itinerario inizia oltre il ponticello (via della lepre). Si prende a destra e alla biforcazione si va ancora a destra. Quasi in piano si aggira la dorsale avendo alle spalle al paese per raggiungere una valletta. Giunti al rio, non lo si attraversa, ma lo si costeggia ancora per un tratto per attraversarlo poco più in alto e si prende a salire nel lariceto con bella vista su Usseaux. Il sentiero effettua un tornante verso sinistra a cui segue un tratto piuttosto ripido. Il tracciato piega quindi a sinistra ed entra in un altro valloncello per confluire poco sopra in una pista agroforestale
(1 ora).
Si segue quest'ultima verso sinistra, poi, in vista delle baite della montagna di Usseaux
(1650 m.), si lascia la carrareccia per prendere il sentiero abbondantemente segnato che scende ad attraversare il torrente e si immette quindi sulla strada di servizio.
La si segue verso il basso e, tra un “pensiero e l'altro” si ritorna al parcheggio all'ingresso del paese (1 ora).
THE PATH OF THOUGHT

The "Path of Thoughts" is a peaceful walk that combines the pleasure of the excursion with reflection on the maximum values indicated on the signs along the path itself. But it is also an opportunity to visit one of the most characteristic villages of the valley, with its beautiful murals and its community oven and hydraulic mill.
APPROACH
from Turin to Pinerolo, go up the Chisone Valley and after Fenestrelle, after the tunnel, leave the state road and go up to the right in Usseaux, where you can park your car.
DESCRIPTION
Following the main road, you cross the town downwards and visit the beautiful murals. Leaving the last houses behind and skirting the large wash house, a little further on you will find the old mill. The itinerary begins beyond the bridge (via della lepre). Turn right and at the fork go right again. Almost flat, it goes around the ridge having the village behind it to reach a small valley. Once you reach the river, you do not cross it, but continue along it for a while to cross it a little higher and start climbing into the larch wood with a beautiful view of Usseaux. The path makes a bend to the left followed by a rather steep stretch. The track then bends to the left and enters another valley to merge a little above into an agroforestry track
(1 hour).
Follow the latter to the left, then, in view of the mountain huts of Usseaux
(1650 m.), Leave the cart track to take the abundantly marked path that descends to cross the stream and then enters the service road.
Follow it down and, between one “thought and another”, return to the parking lot at the entrance to the town (1 hour).
