- Do you prefer standing in knee deep water vs. solid ground?
- Is your idea of Geocaching a long hike through the backwoods, trekking through mud, muck and mire or do you prefer stopping your car every 525' for a guardrail micro?
- Do you have a collection of muddy hiking shoes and or sneakers lining the wall of your garage or are they all bright white and placed neatly in a shoe tree?
- Do you have any socks that stand up and walk away on their own or are they nice and soft and sleeping in a drawer?
- Have you ever consumed libations and brownies while swapping stories about a 14 foot gator that was eating a 6 foot cottonmouth while you waded through water lillies to to reach a cache? Or would you prefer to discuss the micro you found on a smelly garbage dumpster behind a supermarket?
- Is your Geocaching equipment an eclectic collection of hiking sticks, backpacks and kayaks or is it a pair of tweezers and a flashlight?

Please join us for a fun filled morning of hiking, mucking, wading and tall tales galore in the always lovely southern section of the Cypress Creek Wellfields. Your hosts will provide almost nothing, so come prepared for the worst and expect it.
Seriously, it is a two mile one way hike from the parking coordinates to the event in the Florida wilderness. Please come prepared accordingly wearing proper attire, bring bug spray and provisions. The day we took the coordinates for the event we were standing in shin deep water. Swamp Rat™ events are always a lot of fun... and you never know what could happen!
