Whitecross is a small Hamlet, part of the Ludgvan parish, 4 miles approx from Penzance and is surrounded by other settlements of Canon's Town, Rosevidney and the larger Crowlas. The area is covered in farmlands, open fields, camping facilities and grazing areas for horses and sheep. Several public footpaths provide with a nice walk around the Cornish countryside, but be aware some have been blocked off by landowners.
Access to GZ can be tricky from the North as this marked footpath is fenced across, but access on the quite track roads is simple.
