Situated atop a peak in Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mtns National Monument (elevation 2356').
A prominent ridge rises from Hwy 111 to the summit overlooking windfarms and Banning Pass. The off trail hike is steep but pleasant, on grassy slopes with some rock hopping to the highpoint. The cache is below the massive, class 2 summit boulder. Live the adventure.
