the Cache also celebrates the 179 year journey of medical help and intervention for the people of Maitland District
from Cache #1 (Healthy Matters) 1 January 1843 first hospital to the new Cache #7 (healthy Maters) 19 January 2022 the state of the art hospital
Entering the new Maitland Hospital you will be greeted by a 75m long arbour designed by local Aboriginal artist Saretta Fielding.
a design that goes from the front facard and arbour right through to the inpatient units including botenicals and the like
an invested amount of $470+ million in delivering the new Maitland Hospital, to meet the growing health service needs for the surrounding communities of the Hunter Valley now and into the future.
The new Maitland Hospital has embrace technology and innovation, with the aim of creating new ways of working, improved performance and better health outcomes. New technology and innovative treatment methodologies for patient care will be considered in the design of the new facility.
