The original Broken Limb geocache location had to be changed. The old spot was getting sussy and the "secret" bench and garbage can has been removed. After replacing the cache several times, it was given a new home in the same park. No wading or bushwacking required. Big enough for some small swag but BYOP, please.
Harbor's Edge Park is a dog-friendly spot on the intracoastal in Pompano Beach. It is open from Sunrise until Sunset. There is a small parking lot that is closed at night and a newer playground. If you forget to bring your pet's poo bags, there are some available at the park. There is a nice paved path and exercise equipment in the shade of Australian Pines. It is common to see people on the small beach relaxing, fishing, and climbing on the rocks. Kayakers and paddleboarders stop here, too.
