Not many caches along the Yerba Buena Trail as I made my way back uphill towards Twin Gates Trailhead to complete my loop hike. Some great trees up here, including this "Y" oak. And good views as well of this magnificent park. Find the "Y" and the cache will be near at hand.
When I placed the cache in early January it was a clear, cool day, with a dusting of snow up on Mt. Hamilton. But in summer it can be blazing hot here. Come prepared.
Parking available at Grant Lake or Twin Gates. Can also access from the Main Parking Area.
