I admired a number of oak trees as I made my way up the Yerba Buena Trail back to Twin Gates to complete my loop hike. This many limbed beauty has lost a few appendages to the ravages of time and the elements, but still seems to be growing strong. It seemed to be calling out for a cache, so I left a black camoed preform.
I started my loop from the Twin Gates Trailhead, but this cache is also accessible from the Grant Lake Trailhead.
