This cache is placed above the River Wye in the lovely town of Rhayader. It is situated in a lovely park area which is ideal for geokids and geopups alike or merely if you fancy a lovely circular walk around the town taking in the wildlife. If you head over the bridge the woodland area (which has a lovely trail path through it) it was presented to the Parc Waun Capel by Alderman T.F.Vaughan Prickard and was opened on 12th December 1953.
The cache can be accessed from numerous directions from the town centre and is only a short walk. At times however particularly in the summer this are can get VERY muggle heavy so please please use stealth when retrieving the cache.
Please replace the cache exactly as found making sure to not leave it obvious for muggles.
