This Geoart is part of a nationwide project;
THE USA 50 STATE STAR GEOART
celebrating every state in the USA !
Our Goal is to have a "50 STATE STAR" in each state of the USA.
Look for the states that proudly display the "STAR" !

Fun Facts:
1. Utah is the second-driest state in the United States after Nevada. On average, Utah has about 300 sunny days a year.
2. Because of the state of Utah’s high elevation and desert-like climate, its snow is dry and powdery. Hence, Utah claims to have the “Greatest Snow on Earth.”
3. Lagoon—located in Farmington, Utah—is the oldest operating amusement park in the American West.
4. Utah is the only state where every county contains some part of a national forest.
5. Utah has the third most national parks of any state after Alaska and California.

Some things to remember when doing this series
* This is a desert; home to many animals, wild and domestic. Please respect it.
* This artwork has 51 caches.
* Make sure you have plenty of water and snacks.
* Carry out what you take in. Don’t leave any trash behind.
* Cell phone coverage is spotty.
* Most important of all --> Have fun! <--
* Be sure to bring your camera
* Do not move cache containers from one cache to the next. There is information in some that is needed to find the final location.
Thanks to all the Geocachers across the country that placed and maintain these caches!
