As a kid one my favorite books was The Bear's Picnic by Stan and Jan Berestain. It's one of their earlier books because Sister Bear hasn't been born yet. Papa looks for the perfect picnic place and in the process drives his family crazy. No need to drive your family crazy to find this cache. Hidden not far from the path are 2 pools that make up Einot Geres. They aren't full all year long but no matter, the area is gorgeous. We picked lemons after we cooked breakfast next to the pools. This time of year (beginning of winter) the pools are not very full and the water is freezing. The area is very green and beautiful. We saw different animal tracks on the way to the spring. If you come early enough, you may be lucky enough to spot something.
Park at the gate and go on foot on the path along the grape vineyards. You will see a memorial stone and some stone stairs that lead to the spring.
Please be sure to hide the cache well, unfortunately the cache lid is not easy to camouflage.
