42-39977. Boeing B17G Flying Fortress. 729th Bomb Squadron. 452nd Bomb Group. USAAF.

08th February 1944.

On February 09, 1944, shortly after takeoff on a mission to Frankfurt, the B17 Bomber "Hard To Get" (Serial# 42-39977) crashed at about 0935 hours in a farmers field in Morley St Peter near Wymondham, England. The following crew members were listed as Killed In Action.
