The Library of Babel was first featured in the short book by Jorge Luis Borges in 1941. This Library held every possible combination of 25 characters (22 letters, spaces, periods and commas). These books had a max of 410 pages (or 3200 characters), with 80 lines per book and 40 characters per line. Do the maths and the number of books in the Library of Babel is 251,312,000 ≈ 1.956 × 101,834,097.
This number is also known as Borges's number. To put that number in perspective. It has about 1.8 MILLION digits. This makes it larger than maximusmillion but smaller than googolbong. And don't worry, you don't have to know what those numbers mean.
This means that Library of Babel contains endless amounts of knowledge. A exact description of you and everything you did in your life, every single thing you ever wrote, the cure to cancer, how to stop global warming, how the earth will end, etc. In fact, the library of babel even contains this EXACT cache page (ok that's not entirely true because it doesn't allow certain characters).
Now this is enough to keep my brain up all night. If I make a amazing geocache that has never been seen before, did I actually invent it when there is a exact description of what it is in the Library of Babel? I dunno. (and yes this is what keeps me up at night)
The only problem is finding this knowldege and descriptions, as about 99.999% of the books just have random gibberish in them. Just going into a random book and you will almost 100% just get random letters
Now onto solving this cache. To solve this cache you will have to enter the Library of Babel (yes it is a thing! Well at least this is a online recreation). Then follow the instructions below carefully.
