YEG SERIES
I put out the YEG series to celebrate some of the great things and places around Edmonton. I picked one place or thing for each letter of the alphabet. There might be some disagreement on what to use as sometimes there were more than one for each letter but I tried to pick something that I thought was very interesting or unique about Edmonton.
OILERS
The Oilers!!!! The greatest team in the NHL!!! I was spoiled and got to go to many of their hockey games during the dynasty years. They've won 5 Stanley Cups (over a 7 year span from 1984 - 1990), 7 Conference championships and 2 President Trophies. They started in the WHA in 1972 and they joined the NHL in 1979.
